A trainfull of mimes has left the station…

iStock_000007334347MediumWell, it’s been just about four months since Maureen McHugh, Behnam Karbassi and I launched No Mimes Media at SXSW. In that time, it’s been absolutely amazing to see the response, and as far as start-ups go, that’s really encouraging. What it tells me from a bigger perspective, though, is that despite this “global economy crisis,” there are countless people world-wide who are eager to push the boundaries and help us all discover what this brave new world of what Entertainment is going to look like now that it’s not locked into the invisible box of one platform.

We’re already keeping *amazingly* busy working on our first big project, and have some really exciting things in store for the fall. Stay tuned!

About

Posted on 25th March 2009 in

Besides throwing up obligatory self-promotional websites, I make Alternate Reality Entertainment. I’m Senior Designer at Fourth Wall Studios, an occasional Transmedia storytelling (*not* franchising) speaker/lecturer, and Founding Partner of No Mimes Media. Up until 2008, I was at 42 Entertainment as Director of Experience Design.

I’ve worked on projects for CiscoWatchmen, Nine Inch Nails and Pirates of the Caribbean II: Dead Man’s Chest, but I guess most notably, I was the Lead Experience Designer for Why So Serious, the alternate reality game for the film The Dark Knight. See here for a more complete list of stuff…

But enough about me…
