LOST kicked my butt last night
Last night’s episode of Lost was the best episode of the series so far, imho. From the story to the pacing to the direction to the performances, it was, by far, my favorite yet.
Questions weren’t answered with bigger questions, like they usually are. Pieces actually started falling into place, story arcs reached a satisfying sub-climax, and they didn’t cheat by filming the emotional payoff in slow-motion over somber string quartet music.
Plus….TIME TRAVEL!
And you all know what a sucker I am for Time Travel stories. :)
This is the one must-see episode of the series. Download it. Torrent it. Watch the Tivo’d version. Do whatever you must do, but watch it. :)
It’s a Major Award!
Hey, here’s some fun news… We just got word that Dead Man’s Tale, the Windows Live Messenger-based game 42 did for Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest, has won three W³ Awards: Best in Show for Movie and Film, Gold in Entertainment and Silver in Games.
Personally, I think that the graphics work in DMT was absolutely amazing, and the backend programming was 1st of its kind. Plus my daughter thought it was really cool that I was doing something even remotely related to Johnny Depp!
Yarr, matey! Excuse me while I go cut up some chicken into piratey cubes.
