Got word last night that the Why So Serious alternate reality game campaign for the Dark Knight won two 2009 Webby Awards (the regular one and the People’s Voice award). Congrats to the great team behind the game (wherever you are, now), and thanks to everyone who voted!

Upcoming Stuff: BarCampLA, CalArts

barcampla7_shirt_frontFor those of you in the LA area who may be interested, it looks like I’m going to be attending BarCampLA this Saturday (and possibly Sunday). This will be my first one, and I’ll have stuff with me to do a presentation on Alternate Reality Games, so we’ll see how it goes. :)

In addition, I’ve been asked to speak tomorrow at Cal Arts, which I’m really looking forward to. I’ll be talking about ARGs in general, and in more detail about the trials and tribulations of telling a story via multiple platforms. You know, The Future of Entertainment. :)
