Sharp Turns

Hello, and welcome to this, the latest addition to the growing list of ARG-related blogs for your blogroll linky pleasure. Those of you who know me know that I've recently made a sudden shift in life. I've gone from being a freelance musician/composer/producer/writer to being a full-time alternate reality game designer (Puppetmaster to some). I've become what's known as a "dirty pro" in novelist parlance, that is, someone who has gone from being a consumer and then "leader" in the fan community to becoming someone who is making a living producing it. I'm told that's not a bad thing. We shall see.

Anyway, as a result, I'm no longer running ARGN, which I founded. I'll also not be returning to my former activity level at Unfiction. It would just feel......wrong posting all over the place there like I used to. Being an admin there was bad enough, in how I held myself back as far as my opinion on so many occasions, and now it'd be even worse. So, to avoid any of that, plus conflict of interest, yada yada, I've put the mysdirection domain to use.

So, this is the place I'll be able to still stay alive in cyberspace to a certain extent (if anyone comes here, that is).

It's a blog.

God help me.

Anyway, for better or worse, this is a way we can stay in touch, for those of you who know me. Too many good friends out there to just lose :). I'm thinking I'm going to make this part blog, part interesting news aggregator, part ARG meta thought and commentary. I promise I'll always try to have something fun here if you drop by. Sometimes personal, sometimes tech newsy or ARG'ish. Sometimes all three, who knows?

And maybe once in a while I'll even post my opinion on something.
