  1. Man, your wipeboard would have kicked my wipeboard’s ass. ;) Is this coming, or is this ARG past? (Also, do you ever erase? I had to, and even though at that point, it was committed to computer memory, it still had me panicked.)

  2. Steve says:

ARG Past. This is from the ARG we did for Cisco, The Threshold, back in September. I actually never saw this while we were live, just only recently at the Juxt offices in San Francisco.

And yeah, erasing always scares the crap out of me as well. :P

  3. Nice! Process rocks.

  4. Alejandro says:

Wow, my board feels REALLY self-concious now :P
I’ve been getting into the ARG world in the last few years, the design process is really interesting, even though it seems more hectic and alchemic than your regular videogame design. My thesis is on ARG Design, i’m trying to streamline the design process and hopefully come up with a Framework for it, and would love to get some experienced designer to take a look at it, would you be up to someday? :D
    Thanks in advance!

PS: Keep up the great work! The Dark Knight is the ARG that got me into this ^^

    Alejandro,

Yeah, I think you nailed it with the alchemic comment. :) Project to project, things are so different, and you really don’t know where you’ll end up once you start, sometimes someplace totally unexpected. But that’s the fun, right? :)

  6. Alejandro says:

    Of course!
It would be a really bland experience (the design) if it was set in stone, i probably wouldn’t be passionate about it if it was like that =)

I’ll keep working on my thesis, seems to be going pretty good right now (at least my guiding professor is happy with it), i hope i get to publish it someday
