I just couldn’t stand it. Trading all the cool 3rd party apps and customization for the privilege of spending money at the iTunes store from my phone just wasn’t worth it. I went through the arduous process of installing the old firmware so I could have me my custom ringtones and be able to have IRC, voicenotes and IM from my phone:

Oh and Zork.

Yeah, I’m a geek.

But it feels like I have my baby back. :)
