Geez, I love this. Finally, an innovative, useful idea for someone who really loves me to buy me for my birthday! If you do anything besides word processing on your computer, check it out.

They’ve gotten this up and running, after the server being down for a bit. It’s basically a Firefox extension based on the cgi:irc chat client. The cool thing is, it creates channels based on what website you’re browsing, so you can instantly talk to other folks who are there. Very slick.
Right now it’s pretty basic, but they’ll be adding new features soon, according to the guys who built it.
OK, so I jokingly suggested that a friend of mine start up a Treo Sushi Shots Flickr group, since we both had so many spontaneous cameraphone pictures of sushi.
Next thing I know, I’m getting an invite to this. Is the intarweb great, or what?
